Sports Luxe

So I'm going to be totally honest here and say that I for one am already over this whole Olympic thing, and its not even started yet! I do appreciate the benefit the country will reap in such an economic crisis and admire every Olympian for their dedication they have put into training but personally I will be finding a quiet corner of London town curled up with a good ol' glossy! However it was hard to miss the fact that even the fashion industry has jumped on the Olympic band-waggon with the Olympians uniforms designed by Stella McCartney, Olympian- turned models in the latest ad campaigns and not to mention the unmissable sportswear influenced designs hitting the stores this Spring/Summer everyone's gearing themselves up for the sporting event of the year. So this is my tribute to show my support for team GB the only way I no how, in the word of fashion. I have rounded up the hottest sports luxe looks to grace the catwalks for this season. From Stella herself, to Victoria Beckham and everyone else in between, this sporting event could turn out to be the hottest catwalk yet...

Hot Tips

Lately, though hard to believe, I have felt there has been something missing from my extensive accessories collection. Shirts and blouses will never be the same again with my new Collar Tip obsession. With so many fab shirts and blouses circulating this SS12 it would be rude to ignore the collar which has been a focal fashion detailing the past season. I have rounded up some top picks of collar accessorising to jazz up this seasons accessorising hit list...

Brand Crush.... Ivory Jar

A sunny Sunday in East London found me drawn to the ever bustling markets surrounding the oh so trendy Brick Lane. I must admit I have a slight soft spot for this part of town especially on a Sunday wandering around the unique stalls and discovering new talent and this trip was no disappointment. I found myself drawn to a stall in the Sunday Up market by the name of Ivory Jar. This striking brand stood out from the crowd with their sinister head-dresses, gothic treasures and feathered beauties I found myself wanting more. Established by Marcelina Amelia and Rebecca Dewinter their tag lined motto simply states ' Dead peoples stuff refashioned for troublesome girls and boys'. recently unleashing their SS12 collection upon our soles I predict a very exciting future for this duo.
